Hard Work

Summer brings about my favorite time of all.  Planting.  Watering.  Growing.  Starring at the pretty flowers and vine ripened tomatoes you grew.  Oh yes, I’ve more than definitely acquired my green thumb.  Each summer I hit up the local nursery and pick up new plants and add them to our flower beds, pots and occasionally indoors for some extra color.  This year, I rocked the yard work.  It was hard and grueling, but it turned out near perfect.

Fried green tomatoes.  They’re exceptional.  But as I was waiting on this little booger to grow a little more, Ellie decided she’d eat it instead.  We can’t grow any sort of veggie because our lovely dog loves veggies.  Trust me, we’ve tried everything….she eats it all.  Just like how Roomie & I planted jalapeños last summer and the crazy dog ate them.  Yes ATE them…all of them.

WordPress Theme Addiction

I’m starting to have one helluva WordPress addiction.  I love incorporating the new technology into my blog and only see great things from here on out.  This particular theme is from Creativity Included and uses Genesis Framework, which is the latest greatest invention to blogging (or so I think).  I’ll be thrilled to incorporate even more content in my blog than any of you readers could imagine.  Stay tuned for the new blog roll out when it happens.  I’m looking forward to it more than you know!

The WordPress Guru

Turns out that I know more about WordPress than I thought.  I’ve picked & picked themes apart and have quickly discovered that the code that is used is PHP and CSS.  Those of you may not know I have over 7 years of experience in this type of code, not just because I thought “Hey, this looks fun.  I think I’ll learn this all on my own.”  Yeah, wrong; so very, very wrong.  It actually took a lot of hard work and determination to be able to learn these codes and more, mostly it took an amazing teacher pushing me for me to get through the harder aspects of coding.  It was not an easy feat conquering all of the knowledge and more.

Now, I’m starting a new job.  I’ll be known as the WordPress Guru to my clients and I’ll be here for them as much as they need me.  Feel free to shoot me an email for quotes on working on your new WordPress project.
