Have I mentioned she loves to lay on pillows, while you’re sleeping on them.  There’s nothing in the world scarier than opening your eyes from a nap and seeing this face greet you & starring at you with those eyes.  Nothing….okay…well maybe the SyFy channel.

Z dog is definitely a handful and can act a bit crazy at times.  I love the fact that that she’s got the quirky attitude and can jump a mile high.  Although, this can be quite literal seeing as how I’m a mere 4 ’10.

• Roomie graduated from the University of Oklahoma.
• Caught my first Saugeye, sadly it wasn’t a keeper and I had to throw the poor fella back.
• I learned how to two-step.  I love to go dancing now, wonder why?
• Sent a few packages overseas to the land of Afghanistan.
• Baked a ton of muffins one evening just because I was bored.  This happens often.
• Thanks to Pinterest, I burnt my eyebrows, eyelashes & pieces of my hair off.  Yeah, that was an interesting night.
• Dressed up my fur kiddos in matching sweaters for Thanksgiving.
• I saw Justin Moore in concert.  This was my biggest happy moment of the year…I’m quite sure of it!
• Made the conversion to a HD TV & even sprung for Apple TV 2.  It’s by far been the coolest creation Apple has come up with yet.
• Attended my first OU Basketball game & actually bought season tickets.  Kinda crazy.
• I pulled a Geeky moment and dressed up as Darth Vader for Halloween — except I wore a tutu.  Talk about one crazy idea.
• Hopped on a 4-wheeler a mere 4wks after I did something crazy.
• As Papaw would put it, I took full custody of Zoe.  Best decision I ever made….mostly because she’s the best snuggle buddy.

2012 looks to be promising.  I’ll be trekking east in a month which I’m sure will spark into weekend trips to Texas starting in July.  Just a few semesters left and I will have my bachelors degree.  Can’t wait to accomplish that, it’s been a hard road to accomplish, but I’m determined to get it done.

Tonight though, she’s fast asleep.  This hardly ever happens when I’m up and moving around, she’s usually attached to the hip and follows me room to room.  Can’t say I blame her, if my sleeping schedule weren’t so screwed up I’d be asleep too.

I do have to chuckle though.  I got Ellie this stuffed animal years ago (when I first got her as a puppy).  It came from Toys ‘R Us and has been the biggest hit of the house ever since.  Zoe has actually taken up with it and when Ellie doesn’t have it laying on it or doing her “Ellie Aerobics”, Z Dog does.  They’re definitely not spoiled in any way, shape or form.

Here’s a closer look at the baby of the household.  She looks a little perturbed that I’m snapping her photo and not allowing her to catch up on her Zzzzz’s.  She should be used to my crazy picture antics by now, poor thing has had a camera of some type in her face since she was born she should be used to it by now.  Right?

I’m not quite sure she was happy I found her and made it get out.  Needless to say, she found her pet bed next.

My uncle B went home to let the dogs out.  He went back inside to get a candy bar (of all things!) and heard something explode!!  His truck wasn’t even on.  Pretty scary if you’d ask me.  We’re very thankful he wasn’t in the truck at the time…gotta have those candy bars ya know!

The truck is parked in front of their house and actually melted the siding off in places.  Not sure what is going to happen as I don’t think my Aunt & Uncle know entirely just what they’re going to do.

The story broke this summer with how they’ve contaminated the water in Duncan.  That pissed a lot of people off, including my family.  How the hell do you hide a secret like this for so long.  Reports have stated they’ve been tainting the water since the 70s and finally stopped in the early 90s (although, fat chance that happened).  People I’ve talked to have said if you’ll drop a match on this property the entire place’ll blow sky high.

I have nothing but bad things to say about this company now.  They’re definitely the reason for a lot of deaths relating to cancer in this town and more specifically in my Papaws neighborhood.

There once was a rusty ole’ cattle gate as the fence and NEVER has there been round the clock security on their property.  Oh how things have changed.  I want to say so many ill things against this company for the way they’ve treated the citizens of Duncan.  They’ll get what’s coming to them sooner or later.

The chain link fence goes all the way to the rail road tracks and then stops.  Papaw’s house is just down the hill…take a right and then the first left into his addition.  His place is even contaminated by what Halliburton has done.  There are also reports of contamination happening 20+ miles away from this very location.

Love you baby girl.  So glad Pops was fishing…which lead to the agreement to get YOU.

One of my really great friends loves to tag along and come dancin’.  Actually, y’all have her to blame for my new addiction.  If it wasn’t for her, I’d be sitting at home every Thursday night.  Love going to Graham’s…actually it’s somewhat of a Family Tradition.  But, that’s a blog post for another day….ha!

In the car and ready to go.  I couldn’t decide which picture I liked better, so I took two.

Gorgeous.  I love my dark hair.  Crazy hair cut.  Perfectly done makeup.  Funky Red Necklace.  And BRIGHT Red Lips.  Oh yes…I’m ready to cut loose.

Not driving yet….we were still parked in my garage and taking our sweet time getting TO Graham’s this evening.

Look who has SPUNK.  Not sure Graham’s was ready for me, but I was sure ready for it.

Paps knows how to lay it on thick when needed.  He doesn’t need a cane or those silly willy dark glasses.  He walks and see just fine.  He was after a guilt trip with my cousin, so he broke out all his best gear, had Roomie take a pic and send it to her.  Let’s just say we all got a great laugh and my cousin felt bad for not visiting this summer.

Someone is on low calorie dog food….she just acts like she isn’t.  She’s a constant eater and I can’t seem to figure out how to keep her from gaining weight.  Ahhhh….maybe one day.

Hanging out with Roomie & a family friend.  Roomie is 2.5 years younger than I am and you’ll see why I’m pointing this out in a bit.

A year and a half and Daddy-O already has me out on the greens.  I’m almost positive this is how my love for golf came into existence.

I actually have two fur balls now, the third fur ball is what my Mom tried to replace her kids with when we all left home a few years ago.  Poor Joey, he goes every where my Mom does and stays with me only on occasion & when I don’t feel like pulling out my hair of his odd ball antics.  He loves to wreck my house when he’s left with me, although I think that’s partially due to the fact that he has some of the worst separation anxiety I’ve ever seen.

Sure they’re all a handful, but I wouldn’t trade for a second.  Sure they can be needy.  But at the end of the day, I get 2 cuddle buddies & something to come home to when I get out of school.

I stepped out of the shower the other morning and stumbled upon this.  I’m starting to find that the consensus is correct and that Zoe is more attached at the hip to me.  Crazy Dog.  Not quite sure she even knows she’s a dog.

She’s all curled up in the middle of my bed on top of a very clean pillow I just laundered.  Not to mention, she’s asleep!  Funny little dog.

You say her name & she starts really waggin’ her tail and then creeps off the pillow just to kiss you.  She loves to have her head scratched and be loved on and this is one fine way to get that attention…

She’s the cutest little thing….and very needy too.

I think she’s had enough socializing as I’ve probably worn her out.

So, she curls up on my clean pillow case again and her eyes start to close.

I’m more than sure she’s wanting me to get my phone out of the way so she can sleep.  Actually, I’m positive that’s the case.  So, I’ll do that & let her go back to sleep.  Lucky her!

They crack me up.  Watching TV.  Hanging out on the couch together.  I think they’ve really become insuperable and I’m not quite sure Ellie-O could go back to being the only dog in the house any more.  If Zoe isn’t by her side, she’s hunting for her in the house.  They get into more trouble than you want to know about, but the good part is — they keep me busy.  They’re all about keeping me on my toes and guessing their next move.  So while they’re relaxing on the couch by themselves, I think I’ll catch a nap & hope they don’t wreck the house while I’m in LaLa land….

Don’t you just love parents who descend on your house and drink all your good lemonade.  I started with a full jug and by the end of the day this was all I was left with.  Now, I’ve gotta trek to the store and buy more lemonade since this stuff goes a little too quickly around these parts.

My amazing and wonderful Momma took me to eat a Gluten Free lunch at Ted’s Escondido the other day and let’s just say the food was outta this world good.  I’m already dying to go back.  I hadn’t had a good Mexican food lunch in ages and this just hit it outta the park.  First off, a crispy taco.  I have not had a good GF taco in ages….actually I haven’t had a Gluten Free taco since going Gluten Free.  So, for now Ted’s is one of my top places to eat.

My little buddy turned the big 9 yesterday and is getting sooo big.  Wish I could put a rock on her head and tell her to stop growing.  Yes, that’s what I wish.  Now, if I close my eyes really tightly, spin around 8 times and jump backwards once, maybe that wish will come true.  Here’s hoping my crazy antics are right.

She gets awfully needy when it’s time for bed.  She’s just like a kid — she loves to be held and loved on just before bed.  She’s a great cuddler when she sleeps too.

Seeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee…….look at those eyes.  They’re sooooo heavy or at least they’re lookin’ that way.

Look!  She’s almost asleep now!  Dear ole’ Ellie-O is going to have some sweet dreams.  Love my munchkin.

Whitney Lou when she first started walking.  She’s still the same ornery kiddo now that she was then.  Into everything and wrecking havoc.  Man am I proud to call her my cousin.

What you don’t see is that Paps is in the background giving his chickens shots.  Both kiddos were concerned with Papaw hurting the chickens, which you can clearly see on their faces.  Pretty sure they came out unscathed from this event.

Mealtime in Duncan is always a favorite in our family.  Delilah cooks everything under the sun, which means we get one great meal and everyone is happy.  Poor Drewbie didn’t want anything but green beans during this trip — so he kept stealing them off of his sibling’s plates.  I thought it was funny, his mother did not.

Persuading one adorable little boy to eat something else on his plate before I get him more green beans.  I remember he took two bites of mac & cheese quickly and made me rush off and get his green beans and juice.  Ha!

Telling me a great story about something.  Not sure what it was about — but it sure was interesting.
