I braved the snow & ice combination that Oklahoma has and made it to class. Although, I’m not sure it’s the smartest decision my college has ever made – I’m here. I finished purchasing a few things I needed for my Accounting class. This class is costing me a small fortune & between Accounting & Calculus I’ll be surprised if I have much free time to do things on a whim. I now have to plan to go out or at least have a majority of my homework done. Just a few more semesters left & I won’t be known as the Okie College Girl any longer, I’ll have to come up with something else.
Today’s agenda after Calc I is to go home & take a nap. I need one and bad. Ellie kept me up most of the night whining and running around in bed because ice/snow kept falling off the house & making loud booming noises. Either it sounded like someone was going to fall through the roof or the house was going to cave in, it just didn’t sound good – not good at all. Can’t wait for this exciting thing to happen just as soon as I get home.
Hopefully tonight will be a better night for the both of us. I’m sure she’s all snuggled up in blankets at home keeping warm. I’m just sure of it. I’ll be there shortly to keep in company, just another 2 something hours and I can crawl back into bed and sleep.
