Follow-Up to Snow, Snow, Go Away

I shot this with my phone on 1/29, I didn’t have my Flip on me and my phone was easily accessible as it was in my hand.  It’s not quite to where it was at on Christmas Day this year, but it got close.  Hopefully this is our very last snow until next year.  Sure wish all the school closings affected me this year, but since I opted for more online classes than regular ones and my electricity is still on, there’s nothing I can do – still have to go to “class”.

I’m getting ready to bundle myself up & go play with Ellie in the backyard.  Wish us luck.

Snow….Snow…Go Away

Roomie & I took a trip to town today.  It was an eventful day to say the least.  We’re okay.  Everything is okay.  I would just prefer not to trek out in this storm any more.  It’s currently 8:20 & it’s still snowing.  I think it’s time to start wishing this snow away.  I have things to do & places to go.  I hate it when things are closed & I can’t go anywhere.  Drives me insane.

Here are some photos of today.  Look for a few videos later, I’m working on rendering them into a different format.

On our way to the destination.  Seemed like it took forever to make it less than 3 miles.

Robinson Street, Crazy isn’t it?
Sitting & Waiting
Driving….Driving…Driving…
not to worry, I was going less than 15mph
the Trashcans will not move beyond where they’re at…
it took a lot for me to move the one behind the Roomie’s car
You can’t even see the actual road or the sidewalks in my neighborhood.
Fresh Snow….makes me want to go skiing

Wordless Wednesday :: Little Buddy

This is my Little Buddy when I could still manage to piggy back him.  Now he’s a tower and I can’t even manage to pick him up.  Sad huh?

Crank it Up!

So I’ve heard this song multiple times this week while driving to & from class.  Every time the radio gets cranked almost all the way up & I sing aloud at the top of my voice.  I kid you not.  Every Single Time. Enjoy! I know I sure do!

Let's Get Funky {the BIG Surprise}

Saturday I was supposed to get my hair done.  Instead I spent the night before throwing up French Toast.  Needless to say I opted out of getting my hair done Saturday.  However, I did go today and did something totally funky to my hair.

I adore my new color, however my mother hates it.  She said it was a bit too wild.  I reminded her that I had done pink and blue and even a bright red.  Then she retracted her statement and said maybe it wasn’t as wild as what she thought it really was.

A Few Hints

I finally finished Dear John.  I cried the entire last half of the book.  It was a great book – I recommend everyone read it.  It’ll make you think about things and life in general.

The BIG Surprise will unveil later this evening.  I’ll give you a few hints….

I could go with something that draws attention and is totally up my alley.  I mean I’ve done things like this growing up, what better way to revert back to my wild days than pulling this stunt out of thin air.
Or do something that is semi-normal, but just edgy enough for lil’ ole’ me.  I just have to ask, is this drastic enough?

After last night’s events it’s been discovered that instead of a night class on Monday it’s on TUESDAY!  Can we say crap?!  Where the heck has my brain been and what have I been thinking?  Yeah, I’m blaming age on this one.  Luckily, the water main broke last Tuesday & I didn’t miss class last week.

Flashback Friday :: Golfing with Pops

So when I say I’ve golfed since I was basically born, it’s true.  Just take a look….and give Pops a break, it was the 80′s I’m sure those short shorts were in style back then.

I’m sure Pops sunk that putt
13 years after this picture, I played this very same course….on my JR High Golf Team.  I wound up skunking my coach the first time I really played this course.  I think he was impressed as well as the guys that were on the team…did I mention I was the only girl on the team?
