Roomie & I had already crossed the street and stuck our feet in the sand before the Arkansas crew showed up…so we cheated, but only just a little bit. The kids on the other hand, had never seen a beach – a lake sure, but never a real oceany beach. It was remarkable, better than any beach I’d ever been to.
No, I wasn’t trying to get these boys in the photo. This is just how close we were to the beach. I completely walking across the street, down the stairs and feeling the sand between my toes. Yes, we were super close to the beach. I already miss it, I want to go back.
The water looks amazing, doesn’t it? I wanted to jump in, but decided it wouldn’t be the best idea I’ve had. Not the best idea because I not only had my phone, but 2 very expensive cameras. See, not the best idea I would’ve had. Although, Roomie & I did ruin plenty of electronics later on during our beach vacation.
